If you’ve been using shrink sleeve packaging for a while, you might be familiar with the older process of using grid material to determine shrink percentages and artwork distortion requirements. While we still offer the grid material process for companies that prefer it, our new technology uses a 3D scanner and specialized software to get faster and more accurate results.

3D imaging has several benefits:

  • It removes the element of human error as the computer digitally “shrinks” the artwork to fit the dimensions obtained from the scanner. 

  • It allows us to build a detailed 3D rendering of what your artwork will look like on your specific container so that you know exactly what you’re getting.

  • It cuts out weeks of waiting by eliminating the back-and-forth shipping and the manufacturing time required by the usual proofing process.
